I was a passionate nursing student in my third year, dreaming of becoming a nurse who brings hope and healing to people in their darkest moments. I envisioned myself in a bustling hospital, providing comfort to families and making a real difference in the lives of those who were suffering.
All I ever wanted was simple: To serve, to live with dignity, to graduate. I often imagined my graduation day, surrounded by my friends and family, all of us sharing in the joy of accomplishment and looking forward to bright futures.
But now, that dream is trapped under the rubble of war. The sounds of laughter and ambition have been drowned out by the echoes of conflict. The very walls of my dreams have crumbled around me, and I am left wondering if I will ever have the chance to put on that white coat and help those in need.
In these uncertain times, I cling to the hope that one day, the world will be a safer place, and I can return to my path of healing and compassion.
